A new concept for living, all designed around community

Backyard believes in a contemporary, young, and cozy brand ethos that draws in both people who are naturally attracted to shared living, as well as those who may not traditionally consider it an option. Building around the value of community, we digitally designed environments that can easily flex to current and future communities. We then extended the brand’s values to the physical design of the actual physical, lived in spaces through interior finishing and locally inspired landscape design. Given Backyard’s business model of building shared backyards for neighbors and homeowners, all of our design kept “community” at the center of the project – literally.
