Expanding the truck driver workforce amid economic uncertainty

2022 was an uncertain year for any number of economic sectors, but perhaps none more so than transportation and logistics. The Double Diamond brand is built on offering strong partnerships to owner-operator drivers and living into a family atmosphere, including the flexibility to be home with family every night and passing on various discounts to their drivers. Double Diamond is unique in the transport industry in its relationship to a logistics company owned by the same family. Our work was to help launch a marketing campaign for the first time in company history while transitioning the brand away from customer acquisition, the weight of which we used the logistics company to handle and toward driver acquisition. By geofencing locations we knew it was likely existing drivers were likely to be, we built an audience of devices we delivered ads to no matter where they were in the state or nation.
